UN SDGs

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were developed in 2015 with the aim to generate peace and prosperity for people and the planet.

There are 17 goals and 169 associated targets. The SDGs recognise the interconnectedness between ending deprivation and inequality and the establishment of strategies that improve health and education, all while trying to preserve and protect the planet.

This is the largest pledge of common action ever to be endeavoured by world leaders.
